I live in Kobenhavn, so this is about Zepto Computers A/S.

Ordered a Zepto Nexus A15 on the 24th August which had a delivery date indicated as 'beginning of September'.

Receive an email - 'Delivery between 29th September and 3rd October' , annoying but ok, these things happen.

Receive another email - 'Delivery from the 13th October to the 17th October' , ***?

They do not respond to email, bar automated responses and their number 70 204 304, goes to a fax/data noise. Are they still in business?

I'm just hoping the technology is still relevant by the time they decide to deliver, even though they were happyto take my money on the 24th August. Looks like my only option left is the legal route.

It's really annoying to wait :(. And i think they are still in business ;) But they have problems with delivering.. I ordered my zepto at www.zeptoshop.nl...

Zepto have had problems with shipping notebooks, probably caused by delayed receipt of components.

I just looked at the Zepto share price. Investors seem to be worried about something. However, I don't know whether this worry is specific to Zepto's business model or a general worry about the computer reseller sector.

Someone needs to go round and knock on the door.

Wow, they certainly do, 80% down compared to January 2008.
Dell lost a bit over 40% compared with Zepto over this period.

Well the danish stock market is pretty unstable at the moment, not just for Zepto, but also for a lot of the other big companies and especially the banks.

I have been waiting 3 months for my notebook. I originally placed the order in July. I'm still waiting. I did however change my order from a 9600GT to a 9650GT and was promised shipment last week, but it never arrived. I have also been promised shipment this week (it was supposed to be shipped yesterday). But no response as yet.

I understand Zepto have clearly had problems shipping some of their new models because they have received all / part of the products from the manufacturers. Obviously, this is not good for either Zepto or the customer. Zepto could do more to keep people informed of the situation.

They most certainly should. I do admit the reseller I have been dealing with has been very very good in taking on board my concerns. The only thing i'm worried about is the last 2 weeks, he has been very slow in getting back to me. Now other people are coming out of the woodworks and the shares plummet. I'm wondering if it was worth it to go with this company or not.
