Wow, I sent zepto an email asking for the 9650m gt in the nexus and I get a reply back this morning saying it's already been added. It's official the nexus now also has the 9650m gt and for only an extra £40. Nice one zepto

I'd kill to have it that date, stupid dockingstation. But since you did order it, this little month until you receive it will feel like forever. =P

This seems a bit offtopic, but theres still a chance it will be possible in the future, so I'll ask in this thread. What are the possibilities of a 9800M GT/GTX in a 15,4" laptop? Zepto had this planned, but all we know now is that it has been canceled (confirmed by someone working at Zepto DK). If I should guess, I'd say it's due to heatproblems. Still, it must be possible as a friend of mine just ordered a Nexus from Kobaltcomputers - 15,4" with a 9800M GT. I can't wait to check it out, but should he be aware of this by any means?

I believe that alienware puts a 9800GTX in a 15,4" laptop, not sure tough (I am pretty sure about the 8800GTX)

Why? your friend has just got a top of the range clevo, he'll be more than fine. That laptop happens to be very massive with a large heatsink. That's how it can support the 9800m GT.

Zepto would need a complete redesign to accommodate the 9800m GT

Well its definitely on the Nox, dunno about the Mythos as it is all white and the logo glows white (wouldn't go well together imo).

I was supposed to receive mine the 20th of August. When nothing came I sent a mail asking about the whereabouts of my new shiny laptop. Automatic reply told me that they would not be able to answer my mail before the 26th. That didn't stop me from calling them. After 10 minutes with incredibly awful music, a guy answered the phone. He was nice and helpful and told me that the hi-res screens (1680x1050) that I had ordered was delayed. He assured me though, that I would have my laptop around the 28-29th.

As I wrote earlier they promised me a reply on the 26th. That is today. The reply I got today states first what I already knew. That the hi-res screens are delayed. Then I read something sad. This dude says that the screens will be with THEM on the 29th. This means that if I am lucky the laptop will arrive earliest NEXT FRIDAY. This is 9 days from their estimated delivery time.

    Whaaaat?

    So sad.

I know, and I didn't complain or yell at the person I spoke to on the phone. I didn't mean to speak badly of zepto either. I'm just sad that I didn't get my laptop when I hoped to get it. Happy with zepto so far. At least they answer my e-mails and phone calls. Not all companies do that.

Own a Zepto capable of being upgraded or one on order not yet delivered.
Zepto are not part suppliers, retailers of parts will be supplied by Nvidia after manufacturers and assemblers have been provided I would imagine.
