    hey,

does any know if there is any possibility of changing the new silver parts of the znote 6224w into the black ones from the older model? the housing is the same.

i must confess the new silver ones look pretty ugly....sorry. maybe it is possible to use some spare parts or to repaint it...?? maybe change the color with some kind of acid?? hehehe

maybe zepto could offer a color option for this parts in future, so everybody is satisfied.

    who knows?

    regards,

    flip

You can paint it... or put stickers over it.
Painting you would lose your waranty. Stickers should be ok.

I dont think you can use 6124 spare parts. It is part of the body and not removeable I think.

Maybe you should get a 6324W.

I don't think the final 6224w looks too bad. I'd certainly take it over the white version (but that's mainly because of the lid's transparency issues discussed recetly).
Looking at those pictures ( http://forums.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=120819) I do agree that the original looked better. I think it's harder for you guys, though, because you saw the original before the final.

I think the silver adds more character, i didnt like it at first but in contrast to the all black im starting to like it more. Reminds me of older HP's. What are these transparency issues.

the speakers below the screen look a bit strange (too big) and i'm not a big fan of the round corners also. The 3414 looks nicer.

I think the speakers look out of place under the screen, i dont think theyre too big though. The 3415 look more of a business office laptop, the 6224w looks more of a creative gaming multimedia laptop to me. I like both designs though, id be happy with either, the 3415 has a lower res screen but has a webcam and fingerprint reader. The 6224w has a higher res screen and is on sale at the moment. You can get faster processors on the 3415w. They both have their pros and cons, i think the silver parts add some contrast compared to the older 6214w model.
