    Hi,

my old znote is just showing a black screen (a friend have the same problem with the same model)

The pc is running, but the display is just black, so i guess the videocard is broken?

    Any hints/suggestions? :)

    greetings, Nico

Nvidia GPU problems usually start with various random patterns appearing.

I would first try connecting to an external display (it's best to start the computer with the display connected) to see if that gives a picture (you may need to use Fn+F? to step through display output options). If the external panel does give a picture then the problem most likely lies with the cable connecting the board to the internal screen. The cable gets flexed where it passes through the hinge and can get damaged or the connectors at the ends work loose.

If you don't get anything on an external screen then it could be the GPU in which case follow the instructions here.
