I'm having some problems to with the zepto service. The graphics card on me 6214 broke down 2 weeks ago and I send in a support form from the website. But up to now I have only recieved an automated email saying I would be helped at a certain time and date (which didn't happen).

What I find very strange is that I (living in Holland) have to contact zepto uk for my repairs, even though i bought it from the dutch reseller (used to be n4all, now taken over by zeptoshop.nl). Can't I contact zepto dk directly and have them pick up my laptop?

    zepto dk will niot answer.

I'm waiting them to take back the notebook (i'm not satisfied at all with the mythos a15, it arrived defected and using it i noticed how much it lacks of quality, ports and noisy level).

Just passed 1 week. Fug the day I opted for them.

my mythos a15 arrived with a delay of 15 days.. not a huge problem, but ok. I choose the \1 day delivery, paying more for it and they did not use it.

I ordered a copy of nero xpress that i never received as well, but now the real problems.

The lamp of the screen is defected (or maybe is the screen). I see some areas more or less lighted up.

The fan is noisy, even with the new bios. I can just surf over internet and it starts running fast.. it starts and stops every few seconds.

Ports: no vga, no firewire, no e-sata.

Speakers: don't think you will ever be able to see a movie, they are just crap.

    a small add:

specs or the notebook are amazing, so you'll be glad playing game... but imho a notebook is not just "power".

    That's not good :(

    When I tested a A15 Mythos I haven't got any problems!
    Unfortunately I haven't checked the bios, but it's just a BIOS-version!

Why are you saying this, you know this before buying it

Hmm hmm I mentioned it in my review,
they aren't the best laptopspeakers I have ever seen / reviewed / tested / used

I'm sorry but that's just completely your fault. Do the research and be sure of your purchase before you drop all that cash on it. The information was all there for you regarding the ports and speakers. Who assumes when they spend $1000+?

Obviously the other issues (overpaid overnight delivery, nero express, defective screen/backlight) are worth concern.

You have hdmi outpout and you complain over no vga? Only reason you would need vga is on a buisness machine to use projectors.

My laptop's 6214w Gfx card broke down due overheating in begin of october.
I asked for rma and they received my laptop at the end of october. Now, more then a month later, rma-status is "No status available". They didn't reply on several emails I send. Now they send a email that our shipment isn't registered in their system or something .
What kinda support is it ? One of the worst I ever experienced. And I really need this laptop back. Is there anything I can do ?

That's nice, because i have the exact same problem, just 2 months later then you :p. I have been trying to get my laptop shipped, but two weeks later still no reply at all. This is total bs service. If they would give me half my money back in cash i would take it. better then not being able to use my laptop for 2 months (probably longer)

Dont think it's that time yet, for me atleast. The problem is that the time company's have to repair an item is kind of a grey area, usually stated as "reasonable". The problem i have atm is that i bought my laptop from a reseller in holland that got bought out by another company. This company now handles all the warentys. But they told me to ask for rma through the zeptoUK website instead of them dealing with it themselfs. The thing im trying to figure out now is if they only say this to the customers of the previous company or also to their own customers.

Any insights from the zepto guys on this forums what is causing this delay?

Too many warranty-claims and only two people working on the RMA's...
    (heard it from Zepto NL)

    EDIT: I HAVE YOUR SOLUTION!!!!

    Go to http://nl.zepto.com!
There you can find the new live chat!!
And there you can chat with Zepto employees and handle your RMA!!

And they will fix it as soon as possible, they say!

If not, contact me, and I will complain!!

Ok, vga not a big problem.. but what about firewire? but ok, i knew that.. speakers are . But right now it seems a problem of a lot of notebooks, checked today some hp or acer, sony works just good.

But the BIG HUGE HORRIBLE problem here is the customer service. I received my laptop on 19th november (was planned on the 3rd) without any kind of "we are sorry". I recieved it defected, and i'm not getting any answer from them. As i see I'm not the only one having a problem. I could be ok with repairing the notebook but I do it 'cause this lack of respect, just respect, hurts me a lot.

I can hold on speakers, I can hold on a noisy fan, I can hold on a lot of thing.. but when I pay for a product I want to be traited in a good way, not with fishes on my face. This is just zepto, disrespectful, not reliable, and fuggin sloooooow.

I assume all the responsability of what I just said, my rma code is 345735 and I want my money back.
As well I've just contacted a lawyer and I will look forward filling a complaining cause i've been cheated (fraud).

As for firewire, it is on the dockingstation. Dockingstations for the win.

Just again your problem because you haven't checked the specs before buying!

Yeah I know other laptopbrands that have laptops with good speakers... and laptops with bad speakers.. The Zepto Znote 6224W has a sound... ooo my god that's good and not comparible with the Zepto Mythos that I reviewed

Just like I mentioned in another topic, try the new chat with Zepto employees!
Just go to Zepto.com, choose your country-site and go to the chatroom!

    A lawyer.. yeah right... G'luck ;)

Does a beamer need a female plug? Hmmm okay, could be, can't remember it! Sorry

That's true! But every customer needs other ports...
I want HDMI and don't need FireWire... You need FireWire en want E-Sata...
Another guy wants 10 USB 2.0 ports and that's it... Offcourse they could have put more ports in the laptop,
that's really future proof and nice and unfortunately Zepto hasn't choose for FireWire / E-sata...

Todays low-budget monitors still use VGA yes, but almost all use DVI. And higher end monitors are HDMI/DVI/VGA wich can be run by wichever you want. If all your monitors in Italy are VGA then your country has some serious catching up to do.
You wanted future-proofing, well HDMI is that..

Im sorry for your problems with getting it to service, but theres no point complaining about the ports as information over them can be found everywhere. Even if there is space in the chassis to fit more ports physically it is still very hard to get all sorts of ports anywhere as the ports has to be connected somewhere on the motherboard wich means the motherboard needs to have cables and hardware to support it. A 15" has very limited space for the motherboard wich automatically restricts the amount of ports and other hardware that can be integrated.
Dont compare with a 17" or 19" they have so much more space for this sort of stuff.

You certainly have to do some more research over your next laptop or you will be faced with the same issues and youll never be happy.
