    I've poked at the Zepto global site, and as far as I can tell, none of the notebooks that Zepto offers has DVI. Can someone confirm/deny this, please?

    (S'a damn shame, too. I'd love to pick up one of these with a DVI port, but might be convinced to go back to VGA)

    Any plans to put out DVI-capable notebooks? Please? Pretty please? That's all the reason that I need to pick one up. =D

    The 6625WD will not have a HDMI-DVI . It will be on our next platform and that will not be august!

    CBL-NL, that was the inital plan, but it has been pushed for the next platform instead and is going to be HDMI 1.3 I believe.

    Okay that would be nice :)

    Than I'm not the 'dickhead' with an old 6224W (without DVI-HDMI)
    But I can sell my 6224W and go for a new Zepto (that will be my third)

    Thank you!

    I would guess that the new models wont be out until spring 2008 since the new models came out in may 2007, and the earlier ones in spring 2006

    Delayed or not, this is welcome news indeed! If only Zepto would give the option of having the Ctrl/Fn buttons switched, I would gladly wait until the new model comes out to get a new laptop. =D

    It would be great if they made a new docking station with HDMI. I hear this is possible. I believe Asus models have this option.

    knalty, the funny part is that more and more of the laptop models released, from other manufacturers, have the Fn/CTRL set up just as on our 6x24 models.

    If people find the fn/ control buttons annoying, they shouldn't buy a Zepto!

    Than I'm more exclusive ;-)

    Is the next platform coming out this year? I need a notebook but I won't buy one that doesn't at least have DVI.

    I am curious as to what sparked this sudden rash of Ctrl/Fn button switchings, if it is not unique to Zepto laptops? Was there some sort of demented focus group that 99% of all laptop users missed out on, or somesuch?

    Edit: In doing a bit of research it looks like Compal is spearheading this Fn/Ctrl change. Who pissed Compal off? o.0;

    When the HDMI does happen , keep the S/PDIF socket and you will be on to a winner as it seems to be very rare.
