Zepto's Festive Discount/Release Period?

All & Zepto,

I could buy a Znote 6224W - Gamer right now and I know that I would be happy with the purchase, however with Christmas coming up I am tempted to wait until the first week/second week in December.

Now 1 of 2 things 'could happen' in this time :-

New offer making the laptop cheaper OR free upgrades
A new graphics card being offered & new model (this thread is not to ask about any new graphics chip in particular)

So with the above listed I think I justified my decision, comments?

I understand & respect the position of Zepto employees regarding offers & launch products, but a hint/advice looks good.....

 

I have the same thoughts as well. I figured free upgrades in addition to the current discount on the 6224W. In anycase I am hoping for some kind of Xmas deal/discount to rival the recent 3415W countdown sale.

Can Zepto give us any clue or should we go for it now?

 

After 3415w's big offer, there really shall be one for 6224w
And btw, maybe offer cpu with 4MB cache as well?

In regards to your processor comment I would like something above 2ghz but maybe the cooling in the case is insufficient?

 

The current offers will run until at least the 7th of December, After that I havent been told what offers or promotions will be running. What I can say is that we dont want to do is have someone buy and then dramtically drop the price the next week, so we will honour the price within 2 weeks of delivery of the notebook. If you add the building and shipping time then that should take you up to christmas.

The 6224W is currently on a big offer , £529 for power configuration

I will take a gamble even though I will need one by about the 20th December. (I did read the build and shipping times )

So now the wait begins.......

 

Just got the e-mail newsletter for products up until the 7th December

When the discount ends (Over 200.00 pounds) does it mean the price will sky rocket? Come the 7th or 8th I could be in a postion where no new hardware comes out (really what I am waiting for) and then nothing... So I go ahead and buy but realise it is at a lot higher price.

 

SUGGESTION: Put in an order on the 7th for the 6224W at the discounted price and then if better deals/hardware crop up within three days of this order cancel it and put in a new order at the new deal/hardware. This way you will not miss out on the old deal should nothing better come up. Cool!!

 

What if the are REALLY quick and send it out, it days so approximately and not will be 2 weeks

I may do it on the 6th to be safe....

 

I would advise this as the newsletter will go out early on friday the 7th. Please remember we will honour any price drops up to 14days from the date of delivery to the end user so if we run an offer in that period we will give you the lower price. I can only speak for the UK but the 6224W has been on a great offer currently

Not long left now Any news, I am going ahead and ordering in the next hour or 2...

 

I have just placed the order with some difficulties.

HSBC phoned me up and told me that my card has be cloned!!!!! Therfore the payment did not go through I told them to lift the bar and the payment has now been made (ignore the Bank Transfer one that I did).

654.07 has been credited as of 16:38 06/12/2007, please could you confirm everything is okay?

I get my new card in 7 days.....
