    Hi guys,
it's my first time here. Please could somebody send me he old BIOS version 6625_z15n004?

    I'M DESPERATELY SEARCHING FOR IT.

Today I installed the 6625_z15n011 version and I had incredible troubles my my Firewire audio card. Got back to the 6625_z15n008, but the PC didn't change its behaviour.

Tomorrow I would have to use my machine for performing and since it's new year's eve I'm in a real big trouble.
I tried to have a look at the Zepto's FTP Site, but unfortunately they only have from 6625_z15n008 onwards.
    What's more, I didn't find anything online.

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

I'm experiencing serious troubles with my firewire audio card with versions 6625_z15n008 and 6625_z15n011 available on Zepto's site.

It's really urgent. I cannot utilise my machine and tomorow I need it working, so I have got to reinstall the old version in order to test if the new BIOS version was the problem.

MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS: [email protected]
    THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I had a read to this thread: 6625wd BIOS 008http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=180248

The problem is the same, the thing is that it is occurring with an external Firewire audio interface (Presonus Firestudio) and not the internal audio interface that had some drivers updates.
There are no new drivers available for my Firestudio, so I'm forced to go back to the previous BIOS version.

    Some additional information:
    I read this thread: 6625wd BIOS 008 http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=180248

The problem is the same, but I'm using an external Firewire interface (Presonus Firestudio).
Before making the BIOS update from version 004 to 011 all was working PERFECTLY and smoothly.
Unfortunately there are no new available drivers for my Firestudio, so the only way to have everything working again is going back to version 004.

They sent me the BIOS 004 via email, I'm keeping my fingers crossed while downloading it.... I'll let you know about the results after having installed it.

You know, I dont really think its a BIOS problem, its more likely to be a driver issue. Your driver might have got confused when you updated your BIOS.
Did youeven try to reinstall the drivers?
Did you reboot your computer after the first startup?
If the 004 doesnt help it install 008 and reinstall your drivers...

Goes to show you shouldn't fix it if it's not broken. :) Not that this comment helps anyone.

    Thank you so much!
At Zepto they told me that other music professionals had the same problem, they're going to fix it with the 012 version.
Everything is working nicely and smoothly again.
    Happy new year!

    Rockin...

...future reference: title it with "URGENT" or similar and I'm sure we'll
all get the picture. I do understand when your back is against
the wall under a tight deadline you'll do anything though to get
your problem fixed though, glad it worked out.

    Happy new years all!
