Hi folks!
I got this Znote G15 with Intel P8700 and Nvidia GT 130M and 4 gb of ram.
From what I've seen in internet, I should get something near 6000 3DMarks in 3Dmark 06.
Problem is, that I only get 2400-4500 3DMarks approx. One day I was able to get 5900 (just after updating my chipset drivers), but that has only happened once.
I used Core Temp and GPU-Z to monitor my GPU and CPU while running 3Dmark. GPU looks always fine (apart from bad performance) but both cores drop frequency from original 2.53 GHz to 1.6 GHz. and scores were something below 3000 3DMarks.
I've tried to force the CPU to maximum frequency with RMClock, with no success.
And here are some of my scores:
One of the worst ones was something like this:
2700 marks
CPU: 790 3DMarks
(can't remember the graphics scores)
Average Score
4456 3Dmarks
SM2.0: 2598
SM3.0: 1195
CPU: 1330
Best Score
3DMark 5983 3DMarks
SM 2.0: 2723
SM 3.0: 2466
CPU: 1662
Here's one score I found (P8600 and GT 130M Asus N51VF)
5629 3DMarks
SM 2.0: 2347
SM 3.0: 2192
CPU: 2152
So basically I have better points from graphics, but my CPU is waaay back. And I'm pretty sure that P8700 is better than P8600.
Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance!![]()

Download HWMonitor and report your laptop's CPU, GPU and HDD temps after a run of 3DMark (leave HWMonitor open in the background).
-
Both Cores show 58 °C as min, max and current temperature. Something wrong with the sensors or something... max GPU temp was 95 °C and max HDD 58 °C

Which GPU drivers are you using?
-
Nvidia's latest drivers from their website. Thought of trying the ones in the zepto ftp.

When the GPU reaches 95-96 degrees it might automatic reduce the clockspeed, making it perform a lot less.
Try enabling on-screen display of the clockspeed, when running 3DMark and see if it's downthrottlet. I know Rivatuner can display the clockspeed -
3DMark shows you 3 scores. is every score really low or is it only the cpu score or the gpu score??
Znote G15 underachieving badly
