    how do they differ? is the dell larger than the whitebok an if so by how much? i really want to go to a 15" this time since the dell was just way to large for my work.. i nver took it anywhere. i kno the whitebook does weigh a few lbs less which is good but is it any smaller physically?? i may end up with a 15" but i really think im going to kick myself for going to a single gpu...

    I did but I don't know if my comment counts. Whitebook is smaler but not by much. It is lighter. Do not expect to have a huge difference if you decide to go that way. If yu have seen gateway fx series, they are by far lighter and smaller (thinner) than both.

    hmmm maybe not what i want then.... i was hoping it was smaller by a bit more than that or at least thinner. i would personally not own the gateway after having it for a short time fealt way to cheap and flimsy to me

    well you can not get everything you want. Whitebook is not flimsy at all. It is very solid built. Te case tough is may be a few milimeters thinner than the 1730. But hey, this computer is still faster than your 1730.

    The current issue though is getting the new clocks to hold. It's my understanding that only the 8.10 drivers will keep the new clock speeds.

    Can't we just the command line to execute at startup to keep o/c every time windows starts?

    so what are the actual dimensions of the whitebook?? battery life seems fine for me but im not sure of the size. i guess if i knew i could walk away with it at least for a little while (1.5-2 hours) i may make due with the size but id rather it be smaller that it is of course lol..

    wow the ocz is almost 1/2" shorter than the dell is?? that to me sure is significant.. it not as wide or as deep either. its not much in the width and depth but its the height that gets me.. that is a lot almost 1/2"

    ocz = 15.6 (L) x 11.8 (W) x 1.67 (H) mm

    9262 = 15.5" (w) x 11.75" (d) x 2.35" (h)

    m1730 = Weight: Starting at 10.6 lbs10 (4.81 kg)
    Width: 16.0" (406 mm)
    Height: <2.1" (50.7 mm)
    Depth: 11.9" (302.6 mm)
