    backlit keyboard color problem

    so my keyboard light gone haywire, i get red, red, yellowish, pinkish colors now when i cycle through the colors, meaning i cant even turn off the keyboard light off anymore, sometimes it does go back to the normal cycle randomly but it goes back to the problem again soon after

    the normal cycle was, red, green, blue, off

    anyone run into this? weird problem so how the u fix this..

    no i havent try reinstalling the keyboard BIOS

    Try to reinstall the drivers for your keyboard.

    can anybody link me, i dont have the software and i never install any keyboard software before

    1. Go this page http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=246530 and make bootable usb stick.
    2. Download this files (W840.027 BIOS and KBC-8517(keyboard firmware) http://depositfiles.com/files/trvefakst http://depositfiles.com/files/s5pyri47t and extract them.
    3. Copy all files from both archives (without folders) to bootable usb stick.
    4. Restart and press F2, chose USB for boot, F10.
    5. After boot press p, then Enter, follow instruction. When the system will turned off turn it on.
    6. After boot press k, then Enter, follow instruction.
    7 .Restart and press F2, chose yor HDD for boot, F10.

    check the keyboard cables!
    I had about the same problem, it turned out to be a badly connected keyboard light cable. hope it works.
