    bad audio playback on whitebook

    anyone else have this issue? ive been through this thing like crazy and nothing has worked so far. anyone have the same issue and fix it? the audio is popping and all crackly etc..

    I know with Dells that was sometimes caused by the wireless card. Are the audio wires insulated from proximity with the wireless card? Also, what happens if you disable wireless? Same problems?

    Hmm.. Download latest realtek drivers? Ive noticed that when my system goes to sleep and I awake it, the audio turns to crap. Sounds just like the issue you're having. Only resolution so far has been to reboot. If your sound is crackling after a reboot, then it's likely the realtek drivers. I had no issues with the .09 and .08 versions..except as I say, after awaking from sleep mode.

    just spoke with people over at ocz and they didnt seem aware of the audio issue people are having. he is fowarding it to the head engineer and they will try to get it resolved.. we are both almost positive its a driver issue.

    realtek drivers 1.9 - 2.13 all do the same thing

    i believe its a vista problem, not realtek, not completely sure though

    ^^ i doubt that. ive never seen this issue on any other vista based pc yet
