Ok, so i got my hel80, installed windows xp pro. Now i'm getting an error message:
"windows could not load the installer for battery."
any ideas? all i know is that device manager has only 2x"unknown device" under battery.

What drivers did you install, and in what order?

Have you removed the battery, and then reseated it carefully?

    1. chipset
    2. video
    3. wlan,lan,bluetooth
took me a while to install audio since it gave an error about having to install microsoft bus drivers first.
and i pretty much installed the rest in random order from a hel80 driver cd i got.

Could not having the battery in its place when installing windows, have this kind of effect?

Btw. the battery works, i can unplug the laptop, but it just doesnt show any information about itself.
For example nhc doesnt notice there even is a battery, even when i unplug the ac.

Absolutely! You should have the battery installed when installing Windows.
