    is there software like asus power4gear to throttle back the cpu when wrking on the battery? I tried Notebook Hardware Control, but i keeps running on 2Ghz

    NHC should be able to control your CPU though.

    You could also try RM Clock to do control the power schemes. Don't really know how much life you'll gain by undervolting though.

    Lowering screen brightness and cutting off unneeded applications/devices would probably help more in that department.
