    bios trouble

    I have a laptop arevatec3150 i went to arvetac downloads and with out loking at what i was doing i ended up clicking on bios that it downloaded and rebooted and now when i turn on the laptop it goes on the fan is on screen is always black and only cd it takes is xp other then that xp it opens cd and does not take anyother but still screen is black help

    Please, please, please say you did a backup of your BIOS, BEFORE you did a flash?!?

    Wow, i'm assuming you didnt make a backup of your bios. Ur gonna have to get one from someone if you didnt. And reflash
    BTW. Nextime can you please try to read over your message and make it more clear. Its kinda hard figuring out what your trying to say when there's no periods and stuff.

    Hey i had the same issue... how can i reflash the bios.... i can get the exeicuteable from the web site... please any thing you can tell me would be great. BTW the App that is used to update the bios does not have the option to back up.. I have averatec 3150.
