i have an i-friend laptop, which i droped the other day  . apart from a few problems with the keyboard that i have now fixed the lid casing has some lare cracks on the back, and some of the trim around the screen has snaped off. i have tried to look for a spares or repair laptopon e-bay which i could use for replacing the damaged bits but they are like gold dust, so can anyone suggest ways that i could fix the broken parts (i've already tried super glue, but it didn't work).

might sound crazy, but you could get an autobody kit for minor body repairs (fiberglass). very solid repair and pretty easy and cheap at your favorite AutoZone/PepBoys store.

    wear gloves.

i found out that vulcanising glue is quite effective for sticking bits back onto a laptop, but thanks for the suggestion
