To preempt a possibly strange question, I'll mention that I've never actually travelled with a laptop, although I often work with them at work...

The question I have is - is it better to get a second primary battery or a secondary for the modular drive?
It seems to me that you'll get more hours out of two primary ones than out of the primary/secondary combination. Is that true?

Also, I'm considering buying an MX from Portable One, so -
how easy is it to change a primary battery? Are there any screws you have to pull out on this system or can you just slide it out?

    Thanks!
    Michael

    Hey Michael,

to remove the "primary" battery, you just push a button on the bottom of the MX, and the battery pops out.

Personally, i've never needed the use of a second battery, whether it be a modular battery or a second main battery, so i can't comment on that.

All i know is that depending on what you're doing, and how bright you have the screen, i've been able to get about 4 hrs on a single battery.

U might want to drop Ivan an email over at P1. He's always quick in responding and i can't begin to tell you how helpful he can be.

    hope this helps.
