The el80 is the VBI (Verified by Intel) version and does not have the brushed aluminum LCD cover or keyboard trim, nor does it have the copper around the keyboard.

The picture at surpass.com.au shows the NON-VBI version. Please check with the vendor to confirm exactly which version they are selling.

As for much info on this model....well, you just need to look around this forum more. There are 4 very complete reviews plus a few thousand posts discussing it.

There have been incidents in the past where resellers have put up photos of the HEL80 (non-VBI) because they didn't have images to show of the EL80 they were selling. Do make sure which one you're buying if it makes a difference to you.

Just go with powernotebooks for your vendor if you geographically can. They really are a great value for the buck.
