Hey all! I am deciding between the HP dv2000t and the Compal HGL30, the only thing that is holding me back from the compal is the dimensions. It seems heavy and bulky for a 14". Can anybody w/ experience or ownership comment on this? Thanks.

seems fine to me... i have held the first one and own the latter and i dont really see that much of a difference. of course, coming from a 17inch zd7000 may be biasing my opinion.

Keep in mind too that there is a very big difference in the GPU power of the two systems. If you need the extra power for gaming or other 3D applications, then the choice is quite obvious.

But, if are more of a casual user, then the HP dv2000t is slimmer. I'd be willing to sacrifice a little size for power if gaming was my main concern.
