    compal sound problem

    I have a compal dfy30 laptop and have tried every driver possible but no success. It has a SIS chip set 661fx - 963l.
    driver loads is working but volume control is greyed out.everything else is installed ok.also bizcom-us has all the drivers but need a password to log on .there is no way of signing up for a user name and password.any ideas? :confused:
