So I'm in a meeting out at HQ today (we're all a big bunch of nerds), and during a bit of a break, I asked one of the guys for some assistance getting the VPN software working on my new laptop. Pulled it out of the bag, booted it up, and next thing you know, there's a small crowd oohing and ahhing, demanding to see Quake4 running at high-details and high-res. Of course, right then the big boss walks in! Luckily, he was merely amused.

Haha that's so awesome. Lucky you have co-workers who are nerds lol.

I love the anonymity of the brand. Since my HEL80 came with an engraved logo of the reseller (MilestonePC) and a tiny strip that says Compal on the bottom, no one recognizes what this is. I didn't put the C2D and NVidia stickers on, and that only adds to the mystery.
People would bend out of shape to find out what this oddly powerful machine really is. -
thats a funny story. i hope my roommates arent like that.

lol, thats awsome!
dangers of taking ifl90 into a meeting...
