    anyone else notice the lighting is darker in the lower right and left corners of the screen on their HEL80? its not much maybe the last 1/4 to 1/8th of an inch is slightly darker.

    oh its on a powerpro L 8:15 with the higher rez matte screen. just got it today.

    Thats called uneven backlighting. I don't know how significant it is but its normal on a lot of laptops.

    Yup. It's been discussed over n the HEL80 lounge, IIRC. I see it too. Not enough to affect use, but annoying in that bebble in the shoe way.
