hey all. do you lose scroll functionality after waking your laptop? i did. it was the elantech driver. it would also hog resources once in awhile too. about 80% of the cpu- enough for the fan to crank on high.
totally annoying, so i uninstalled it. without a driver, windows lets me vertical scroll. also, went to mouse in control panel, maxed out rate and turned off accuracy- now mouse pointer flies fast like i like it. it's a bit inaccurate, but i'll get used to it.
booya!

try installing the synaptics driver thats what i used on my mom's and it worked great
-
so no driver is better than with driver, huh? hmm...
-
what is odd.. i now have 3 jfl92's here since this one my mom got and the synaptics drivers do not work on any of these. i get no scrolling and no double click either.. i would have thought they used the same touchpad.. odd
-
I agree, synaptics work perfectly.
-
Apprently not on the jfl92...
-
Ok, I don't have the ...92
-
yep no go on the jfl92 with the synaptics.. this sucks
-
I don't use any drivers and it's OK, the only issue is lack of horizontal scroll (but vertical is OK).
-
In mine IFL90 worked perfectly but I disabled it cuz it was driving me crazy as I would accidentally touch it and the pointer would fly, very annoying when you are wordprocessing.
-
I didn't install any driver for touchpad coz I'm using bluetooth mouse. The windows one is doing it's job perfectly when needed.
-
Doesn't the touchpad bothers you when you hover over it and the mouse moves?
-
-
I never got used to it, do you type with both hands or feet?
elantech driver hangs upon wake- uninstalled = problem solved
