This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    firefox 1.5.0.5 fixes scrolling issue!?

    I just updated my firefox and all of a sudden the scrolling in firefox on my HEL80 appears to be working w/ the elantech drivers. wieeerd.. :p

    An earlier version of Firefox had the same issue with the Synaptics touchpad until they updated it...no not so wierd...Elantech is relatively new to laptops so Firefox just had to catch up :)

    Doesn't fix it for me. :( I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue, I have the same problem in MS Word 2003 and Visual Studio 2005.

    Yeah I've only used the new firefox with my hel80 and there's been no scrolling problems. I still use the drivers that were already installed on my machine.
