Hello everyone. I need your help finding gaming laptop. I like to read comment from you. I'm playing Final Fantasy XI. I'm also planning to play Everquest II.

    1) It has to be around 14" XGA or SXGA
    2) good GPU like ATI Radion 9700 or Geforce FX 5700
    3) high CPU around Pentium 1.6~1.7ghz
    4) long battery life
    5) I don't want to hear noise from the machine(fan and harddrive)
    6) I don't want the laptop get too hot
    7) under $1800.00

So far I'm looking at Acer 3200 series and Toshiba Tecra M2. Acer 3200 has good GPU but poor CPU. Toshiba Tecra M2 has good CPU but poor GPU. It is really hard to decide.

After I customized Toshiba Tecra M2, it came out as $1620.00 after rebate.

    Toshiba tecra M2

    CPU Pentium M 1.8ghz (or 1.7ghz)
    MEM 256mb (obviously I'll upgrade to 1gb)
HDD 40gb with 5400rpm (haven't decide whether get 7200rpm or not)
    GPU Geforce FX 5200

i dunno about 14 inches, but you can probably find a 15 incher (not 15.4) at somewhere like cyberpowersystem.com. i dunno if their stuff is that great ive never used 1 but i guess you can check.
