Has anyone here actually installed Vista-Business-64 on the IFL-90? I've currently got it on my laptop, but some software that is essential to my job isn't available on any 64-bit OS.

So, I'm going to wipe the disk and put XP-Pro on the laptop instead. I don't want to set up dual-boot at this time (I'm too greedy with my disk-space), so I figure I'll just re-install 64-bit Vista at some later time. (Since I haven't actually activated Vista yet, if I *never* reinstall and activate it on this laptop, I can use that on any other pc, right?).

Anyways, just hoping to get a feel for how much of a pain it is installing Vista and tracking down drivers, etc. If you've done it, please tell! If it's really awful, maybe I'll just pick up an extra disk drive and swap that way...

    Cheers!

Its just like any other windows installation. Your IFL90 CD should have all the drivers you need. If not, download them ahead of time and store them for quicker build time.

I dual-booted Vista 64 and Win XP on my IFL90, and they worked like a charm. Both of the OS were installed from scratch.
