The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I thought this needed its own thread. For those who miss the more in-depth than the notebook forum here, stevelam has set up a new unofficial Averatec forum. It looks great and I hope all the old and new Averatec friends join us over there.

    This quote from stevelam from another thread:
    I have joined as have several of the regulars from the old forum. Come and join us.

    As for the notebook forum, I say thank you for hosting the notebooks forum. This is a great service where info regarding all notebooks can be found. Both forums are beneficial and I will continue to haunt both of them.

    the new forum looks great, and performs nicely. too bad all the history of the old forum is gone. :(
