Finally got it back from RMA. Installed XP slipstreamed with intel sata drivers. All devices are working as far as I know. I don't think I'm missing any drivers - audio, video, biometric fingerprint, touchpad... surprisingly, the webcam doesn't need a driver.

I still have an unknown device listed. The driver instance id is ACPI\CPL0002\2&DABA3FF&0

Any ideas what it could be?

Curious, naddie, didn't we carry on a lengthy debate over in the IFL90 Shipping/Waiting Thread about the issue over xotic/PNB's prices and business practices? And you had to RMA your NP2090? That's unfortunate.

Looked thru my device manager and it says "ACPI x86". Perhaps XP doesn't support dual-core processors?

Yea, my 2090 was defective on day 1, which made my wait longer. The RMA was with Sager though, not PNB.

Some minor gripes such as the Touchpad. I am used to Synpatics touchpads and their software allows for much more control such as being able to continue mouse movement when you move to the edge of the pad, and also the sensitivity of the touchpad. Currently, the touchpad isn't sensitive enough for my taste, and frustrating is not able to continue the movement of the cursor at the edge of the touchpad, making drag/drops a 2-hand affair.

Also the blue LEDs are way too bright, esp. the one on the power button. Distracts from the screen, and hurts when trying to use in the dark. Gotta find out how to pry the panel open so I can insert a few layers of paper between the LED and the button so I can diffuse some of that light.

Overall, though, I like it. I've only spent a day on it though, installing Windows XP and Vista.

It was the Smart Battery! If you install the SMB app, it installs the driver. I was trying to have a clean Windows install, so I avoided extra apps, but I guess this isn't so bad.

Now, other issue is that I didn't realize that the ME remote IR transciever was actually included and installed internally in the IFL90. I have a MCE desktop I actually use for a home theater in my living room, but the remote affects my laptop, too. :( And I don't want to tape up the IR on my laptop cuz it will ruin the finish.
