My motherboard shorted out and coughed a puff of smoke. I need a new one. Where can I find those? I've looked on ebay but couldn't find anything....

When I was looking a couple of weeks ago, I found a bunch of motherboards by searching for "FL92 motherboard" in Google, then clicking 'Shopping'. Unfortunately, none of the motherboards show pictures, so I felt a bit nervous about ordering the wrong thing. You might try calling one of the vendors and asking for a picture, although since all the motherboards appear to have the same description, straight from ASI, I wouldn't be surprised if none of the vendors actually have them in stock.

There is actually an ASI warehouse only a few miles away from my home, and I considered going there to see if I could look at a motherboard, but I never did. It's basically just a huge warehouse and not really set up for shopping by individual consumers though. Who knows, you might be able to get some assistance by calling them.

As for me, I'm fairly sure my problem is with my video card and not with my motherboard, so I never actually ordered a replacement.

Look the motherboard ID, I think it's something like FT00.
