    i have found brand new from my local sams club for 898$. Is this a good deal? also i am a newbie with notebooks as this will be my first purchase. Will i be happy?

    That's a very good price. Jump on that one while you can. Just make sure the box has not been opened. It could be a return unit. I always like to make sure I'm getting a sealed box, when I spend that kinda money.

    Man where was this deal when I was looking to buy this laptop!

    That’s an awesome price for the laptop; I paid almost $1200 for mine and I felt this is the best laptop for the price so getting it for $300 cheaper makes it even better! Also as redjr said make sure its new and not a refurb or a returned one, only because they usually have a higher probability of failure in my opinion. Also if you are wary about the laptop you could always add the extended warranty that Sam's club offers just in case.

    For the price you won’t find anything that can match the performance of this laptop, So if I was you I would go ahead and jump on this deal before it's gone.
