i have two things in device manager that are with yellow exclamation marks. one is the fingerprint reader which i dont really care to install yet. and there is a unknown under that listed there as well? i have install every other driver but the fingerprint reader. is that what is it for?? or what item will make that go away? its driving me nuts to figure it out..the hardware id of it is cpl0002.

    thanks

arghh so what is this really for? anyway to get rid of the warning in device manager and not use the smart battery? i would personally rather have it to charge to 100% since the wife takes it with her to work everyday..

I'm not sure but I think is the smart battery driver. Go in the control panel and check this name on the icon's property.

the smart battery thing is useful if you want to extend life of battery. if you need it charged 100% everyday then i guess you don't it. you can still install it and disable it on startup.
