    laptop and speaker connection

    I have a laptop - NEC VERSA M350. Does anyone knows whether the headphone jack of this laptop supports optical out?

    This is because I'm trying to connect my laptop to the 5.1 (z5500).

    Another question, if i already connected the 6 ch direct of the speaker, can i still connect the digital optical? In order words, use both connection at the same time. Or I can only choose either one of the connection?
