I have had my m4000 for about a year now I have noticed my graphics performance is slower than I remembered. According to Sharp the maximum shared graphics memory is 128mb. I looked at the information from the intel graphics utility and it reported the max at being 32mb. Can anyone confirm that their max is only 32 (I would like this to be true, but think the worst)?

    Thank you,
    David

    Hello and welcome.

You got the Intel GMA 900, according to Intel, you should have 128 MB, and NOT 32 MB.

Yes the GMA900 does use 128MB when needed.

Could there be any driver issues that could cause my video memory to be so low? I know my bios doesn't have any settings for it.

I have a feeling that it might just be a problem on my motherboard. (I noticed the problem when guild wars wouldn't even run, it used to run slow, but it ran). I guess I might have to give Sharp a call and see what they say.

    Thanks,

    David
