Came across these on laptopvideo2go. Saw in the comments of most people with 8600M cards that these work without modified .inf file.
Thought I would give it a go, and they installed without a problem on my JFL92
    No standby problems or anything.

Didn't do any tests yet about performance, but since I'm a gamer, and can't really play gta4 atm due to graphic issues, I hope they will do the trick.

I had standby problems with this.
I don't think gta4 will be possible to play on laptops, it very CPU intensive and even on my desktop mashine with 3.6Ghz clocked quad core it's just obove lag barier.

I could pay it perfectly with the DOX optimised drivers.
But because they basically were modded desktop drivers, I had all kind of standby problems, ...

These don't have that, and seem to to a better job ingame.

It's playable, but don't expect the quality to be super.
    No lag though.

I use dox's 181.20 drivers and I play GTA 4 on 1280x800, medium, meduim, view distanse 7, detail distance 10, vechile density - 35. I have overclocked my 8600M GT to 600/460/1200 and this is the result which FRAPS gave me playing GTA4:

    with fine weather - 2009-01-16 17:52:23 - GTAIV
    Frames: 2585 - Time: 123953ms - Avg: 20.854 - Min: 18 - Max: 27

    with heavy rain - 2009-01-16 18:09:18 - GTAIV
    Frames: 4359 - Time: 313509ms - Avg: 13.903 - Min: 11 - Max: 20

the frame rate in the cutscenes is always about 22-25

it's playable for me, cheers guys
