I have tried to install Windows Vista on my Compal HEL 80 several times, but there's one bump in the road that I keep encountering. After I install the video drivers for my Geforce 7600 Go, I always experience mouse lag combined with a jaggy movement.

I have tried the newest drivers as well as a few older versions, but none of them 'fix' my problem.

I read that disabling v-sync and frame pre-rendering might fix the lag, but it does not for me. :(

Please, Compal HEL 80 users with Vista, help me. :(

Try install the latest system chipset driver and reboot PC to take effect.

Then install the VGA driver again, if there is any latest driver update for the mouse, please do so.

Updating the BIOs may help but have to do that carefully.Backup of the original Bios is necessary.

    Hope this helps!

I tried all of them, none were effective though.

Once you uninstall the drivers does the lag go away?
