    I don't know much about averatecs but I know that some of them are built by MSI which is a really good company, I have used many of their graphics cards and a few of there desktop pcs so if it is a MSI then I think is should be a good deal.

    it seemed like a pretty decent notebook when I checked it out a couple of weeks back. spec wise, its amazing: 4lbs, dual core turion, 1GB/100GB, and integrated nvidia graphics for $599.
    Averatec quality seems to be the best on its 12" widescreen notebook line, because they are made by MSI. I dont know about this one specifically, but others in the past were.
    If I had $600, I would definetly buy it.
