I've stepped on my crappy but trusty Medion MD 98300 15.4" laptop and now the screen needs replacing.

Now I hear that Medion just rebadge other people work (the Damian Hurst of the laptop world I guess) so I'm just wondering what screens are compatible.

I've seen other medion screens on ebay at a good price but will other models fit mine?

Or will a screen from adifferent company fit it seeing as they badge other peoples tech?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many different screens are likely to be compatible, if they are the same size and resolution.

So do I need to whip out my current screen and get a serial number to find out it's compatibility? Or is it a case that if a screen is the same size and resolution it will work? Are the connections from the screen to motherboard standard?

    Cheers
