    Hi,

I was looking on Puget's site earlier and noticed they've updated their laptop line.

Are these a rebrand or are they something they manufactured? I'm interested in a couple and I'd like to find the cheapest price if possible.

    Thanks

The Puget "m705i" and the "d705i" are the most wickedly over-priced OCZ Whitebook and Clevo D901c re-branded notebooks I've seen anywhere.

    NGH -

Are you asserting that our price is too high, or that the cost of the OCZ and Clevo units are too high? We base our pricing on our costs alone, so I would understand if you meant the latter.

Your prices for the OCZ and CLEVO re-branded notebooks are not marketplace competitive in comparison to what other vendors or system builders offer.

RJTECH, Xotic PC and Sager have great deals on Clevo, Compal, Arima, ASUS or MSI systems.
Pugeot makes awesome desktops, and all you see on the 3d mark page is their custom rigs dominating the competition. Congrats to you guys, you make excellent products, and from reseller ratings and peoples reviews, your services are top notch.

For the cheapest Clevo system built by Sager, go with www.XoticPC.com

However, for the very best, bleeding-edge performance gaming notebook with killer customizations at a very reasonable price, check out www.killernotebooks.com

My personal choice for a notebook that combines power with portability is Killernotebook's Nagamaki:

    http://www.killernotebooks.com/nagamaki/nagamaki_order_page.html

This notebook is based on the Flextronics/Arima W840-DI chassis with OCZ as the North American distributor calling it the OCZ Whitebook.

Here are some forum link from K|N for you to peruse and make your decision:

Other vendors of the OCZ Whitebook:
    www.xoticpc.com (also sell barebones)
    www.rkcomputer.net (aslo sell barebones)
    www.digitalstormonline.com
    www.darksmileysystems.com
(must read if ordering from darksmileysystems.com and decide for yourself - http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=295495)

I really like the Namagaki or the Force Extreme 840 from ExoticPC. But from what I've been able to tell, the battery life is only one and a half to two hours. Is it possible to get more than one extra battery?
