This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    im parting out my compal HEL80 notebook, the motherboard (the model with the geforce go 7600 256mb PCI-E graphics) the motherboard fried from a power surge.. i dont have the tools to repair fine circuitry, so i will be listing the parts for sale in the buy/sell forum.. im making note of it here so that if anyone is looking for some HEL80 parts, they should be available there, the screen is unscratched, keyboard works fine, touchpad works well, intel 3945abg wifi card works, 2gb of RAM works, the 6 cell battery and power adapter i will also be selling... feel free to make a request if i do not list a specific part there
