I have the core 2 duo t7200, and in the system properties tab it is only showing 997 mhz instead of 2.0 ghz... anyone know why?
-
It's clocked down to save battery life. The technology is called intel speedstep.
When plugged in and under load it will hop up to it's full speed of 2.0GHz. To manually control it, consider a program like notebook hardware control. -
RM Clock is another utility you can use to do so, but as long as it responds when needed, I don't really see the need to force it into a higher power setting.
-
can teh default clock be changed from 997 tuh like 1.5???? But still utilizes the speedstep feature
-
That's what programs like RMclock are for.

Notebook Hardware monitor is working good for me man nd a real easy user interface and looks cool.

Some resellers will apply the Artic Silver 5 on your system for you when they assemble it.
And regarding the key for NHC: we do not allow discussion about illegally obtained software or methods of obtaining such software in our forums.
The cost to upgrade your NHC license is really not that much--why don't you just pay for it and help the project? -
Oh ok. im sorry tho about the inconveniece of my mistake tuh request such illegality. My apologies. I bought my hel-80 off new egg still suh i guess i dont have it in mine

For x-mas, I wish you some grammar skills.
