I just received a post card from averatec notifying me that my claim for a $100 was rejected for one of two reasons: i already submitted the maximum number of rebate claims per household...or my serial number or transaction number matched the data submitted in another claim.

Averatec or the company that processes rebates has made an error. Any advice on who to contact ??? or what the next step is???

It's bad enough to have to submit to this claim process and then to have this happen is very frustrating.

I would have thought there's a contact number on the card you received? If not, I would call Averatec customer support to chase down the right number to call for rebate related issues.
