    What do I need to look out for to obtain a replacement dvd combi drive for my 3200 series?
    I would like dvd burning.
    I will get one off ebay but size, spec etc. I seem to remember many wouldnt fit correctly because of the shape of the door.

    I ordered this one for my 3250. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106224
    It's now discontinued but you can refer to the specs and get something similar. It was a breeze to install. Only 2 screws on the bottom of the laptop hold the optical drive in place and this combo unit had the same bezel clips so I was able to reuse the Averatec bezel.
