I don't know why but the drivers of the 8600GT on my 6224 seems to be way worse than the ones on my old Toshiba's Radeon X300.

    Here are my problems:
    1) I have an external LCD monitor with a resolution of 1440X900 (the same as the laptop's display) but I can't make it my primary display! on my old toshiba I could make it primary and whenever it is pluged it's the primary one and the laptop's display is secondary, when not plug it automatically switches the laptop's display to be primary. This is really important for me and I would be very glad if someone can tell me how to fix this.
    2) Why there are so few display resolutions? I mean - come on - only 3??

I have installed the latest drivers from Zeptos FTP.
I tried to installing the latest official driver pack from nvidia hoping that it may cure these but it says it can't recognize my video card.
