    simple question: how to deactivate speakers while using headphones?

    That's strange, the Realtek Audio software (RTHDCPL.EXE ?) should handle that...When I plug headphones in my 6224W the speakers are deactivated.

    same here on the 6615WD. Headphones in, speakers off. Headphones out, speakers on. Try reinstalling the realtek drivers.
