    Any news about upcoming (Compal or others) notebooks under 14"?
    A sweet spot is 13.3" with 1280x800 res like the latest MacBook, weighing around 5 pounds and with at least 4 hours of battery :)

    rarely have I seen Compal release anything other than 14", 15", and 15.4", especially in the last 2-3 years

    Sager will be releasing a new 12" Core2 Duo model next month...and I must say it looks sweet :D

    It looks like that one, and will come in that black and white version as well as all black and maybe even pink, and Ferrari yellow!

    it does look sweet except for the 12" XGA... agh...
    Let's wait... I want a little one for my girlfriend (and I will be borrowing it hehehe)

    you're not going to find anything higher than wxga when it comes to 12" widescreens. if you prefer standard ratio, then sxga exists in the form of Lenovo's X series thinkpad.

    It's kind of funny because I used to be a strict stickler to the higher resolutions...that is until I started playing with a 22" LCD at WXGA. Now even my 15.4" WSXGA seems too small and I find myself adjusting the desktop resolution at times :p.
