seems like different ppl already received IFL90 based nb's and i wonder what the gfx clockspeeds of the 8600m GT are. haven't seen any clocks around in the other (dozends of) IFL90 threads.

if there were some and i just missed them: pardon me plz and relink me to the posting (and after that: cloze plx)

    cheers :)

I don't think anyone in North America has the IFL90 based notebooks yet, though other parts of the world might have them. I haven't seen any clockspeeds or benchmarks for the IFL90 either.

Well there is one review that mentioned the GPU clocks and over clocking the GPU
Basically they were testing out the Compal IFL90(Stingray Z84) in 3d marks and the 8600m GT in their review model was originally clocked at 400Mhz for the memory and 475 for the GPU Core and the highest(i assume stable but they dont elaborate-all they say is that the machine doesnt seem to suffer) they got the clocks up to were 545Mhz for the GPU Core (+~15%) and of 495Mhz for the memory (+~23%)

So hopefully the US version will do the same or better.

    Test du Compal IFL90/Stingray Z84
-And i though taking French in HS would only help me to get European chicks.

I think that if Rivatuner is right, we probably are looking at GDDR3 underclocked, which may leave some room to overclock...

So why it can't be overclocker to far? Maybe some voltmode will help it made up it's mind
But why compal always makes it so difficult?
