    The DV1000 is a very good computer, everyone's given it a positive review. Same with the 700m, but people have complained about the small keyboard but you can get used to it quickly.

    The other advantage of the dv1000 over the Dell 700m & the Medion 14" version is that it uses the newer chipset with the improved graphics solution & 533MHz FSB support. It *might* also support dual channel memory..

    HP is also releasing the Turion versions of the DV1000 & the Compaq V2000. They are supposed to be released on the 22nd. Costco has them on pre-order & are slated to be shipped on the 28th.
