i got a 3120v that i am very satisfied with but ever since i got it the speakers have been just crappy (even worse than i would expect notebook speakers to be) they would always crackle and whatnot and when i called averatec they told me i must have it set up wrong. Well, i know my way around windows machined pretty well and i'm sure it wasn't the setting. the speakers were crap. Needless to say now they dont work at all, but this laptop sounds good with headphones. Anyways back to my rant. Anyone else have this problem. I am debating as to weather its even worth getting fixed.

Stick to the headphones. It is not worth getting fix. Can you still return it and get your money back or exchange it for another one?
