    ive asked before.. but honestly... should i get the sz7 or just stick with the sz6? i want to get the high end machines... and the better hard drive... nore sure about the battery - 6 cell or 9 cell....

    I went to the Portable One site and the sony SZ7 notebook caught my eye, I would like to order it no later then next week friday, but I have a couple of questions b4 taking the plunge.

    1. I was reading the sony thread and saw that sonystyle had some delays with the new processor penryn and won't start shipping until pretty much the middle of February and I wanted to know if Portable One are experiencing the same delays??

    2 .Also, do I have to put in a separate order for the sony restoration discs or do they come included with the notebook??

    3. Are there any discounts or coupon codes in order to get the best deal possible???

    Thank you in advance, I heard great things around the forum about Portable One thats why I decided to buy from them instead of another retailer. I look forward to doing business with you. :)

    Thanks Ivang. I am also wondering what is the cost of shipping and handling to Alberta will be.

    Canada's GST (Gov't Services Tax) is 5%
    Alberta's PST (Provincial Sales Tax) is 0%

    Are there any other taxes involved?

    Yes all of the black machines have LED backlit displays. As for Sony Canada, they are in competition with Sony USA so they usually have customers forward/send to Sony and/or their ASP's in USA for warranty repairs if needed since they rather have you buy from Sony Canada.
