Here they are, hopefully my two last questions...![]()
1. Whats the trick with the tv tuner card? How do i get the card to find any tv or radio stations (I did the search but it always ends up with nothing). I tried it outside and in a lot of different locations. Should I get some stations if I connect the "tv cable" (it is a digital signal). I live in Sweden, is there anyone from sweden that has gotten the tv tuner to work? I just bought the 6625wd and loving it so far, if I can get this to work everything is perfect...![]()
I am so bad at this!!! :s
2. Is there anyway to use a bluetooth mobilephone to use with skype. I want the phone to act as my headset. I have a http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_p310-1682.php phone.

1. Digital TV needs a good signal - it either works or it doesn't. I've got a USB digital TV stick and got nothing until I connected it to the household antenna system. It came with a little stick antenna which would probably work if I lived in sight of a transmitter.
2. Skype through a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone? Have you Googled to see if anyone has done it. The challenge is to get the phone to function as both microphone and speaker audio devices via Bluetooth. Then you can set Skype to use those devices.

Hi John!
I to connected it to my household antenna system but without any success...
And regarding the phone with skype it doesn't seem possible, can't find anything suggesting otherwise...
Btw thanks for all the help -
i havent tested the tvtuner yet, but im going to test it some day this week i think, and if it doesnt get a signal when im in the city, im gonna get pissed, cos we doesnt even have an antenna on our roof, just a piece of an antennacable as our antenna. We can see the tv-tower from the window. Lets see what it'll say when i cannect it.
Live in finland and the Analog transmissions ends the 31.8. So i have a question: Does the tuner work with the digital transmissions?? -

This thread implies that the TV tuner is digital.
I'm short of other suggestions about how to get the TV to work: I would want to connect a different digital TV device (digital TV or normal TV with digital box) to the antenna cable in order to confirm that the signal is OK. Then we can concentrate on the hardware / software in the notebook. If you don't have anything in your house, can you take your notebook to a friend who has a working digital TV service.
First up in the notebook is to double-check that the antenna wire is connected to the TV card. I presume that the TV player thinks it is connected to the receiver. Is there any diagnostic utility? Are there any different drivers for the TV device? [I had fun getting my Freecom USB TV stick to work with Vista -the player couldn't see it when I used the USB TV driver. Out of frustration I tried the non-USB TV driver and that worked!]

When the analogue transmissions get turned off they will be able to make the digital singal more powerful, so you should have more luck getting a digital signal then.

I just discovered that the coaxial input to the computer is much smaller than the one for TVs... damnish ah well ill put the cable into the contact without the actual plug
Some tape around it and your good to go
